Palace are a point behind us now. They have spent a fraction of what we have on players.

He's not going anywhere. The owners have to ensure we have Premier League football going into the Olympic Stadium and Fatty will get you that.

We can't have a young vibrant manager as he needs to have prior prem experience which translates to being sacked by another club previously.

What was his target? Because it really should be a top six finish.

Re: The official... Fcuk off fatty... thread
We need a young vibrant manager that adopts the modern game and plays a young vibrant brand of football, but there again we need a young vibrant board of directors to understand that philosophy, sadly we have neither

7 points from ten games - with one of the best squads we've had for a while.

Says it all really.

I think he has considering where we started from after the shambles that the Zola/Grant era left us with...

The problem is he doesn't believe in attractive football - There is only so long that this can be tolerated.

We limped up through the play offs in a game blackpool should have won. We should have pissed that league with our squad.

He has been paid hansomely for, on tje whole, some very ordinary performances.

Re: The official... Fcuk off fatty... thread
Moyes is the only likely replacement and I hope he comes. I don't think they will gamble with anyone else. Moyse is younger has a good record and will do a better job I believe. Sensible change for the next couple of years at least if we can get him.

Allardyce has done ok but still isnt worthy to me for the last year at the Boleyn then leading us out at the OS.

No he hasn't

Re: The official... Fcuk off fatty... thread
Carroll isn't a bad striker but I'm pretty sure that endlessly lumping long balls to him isn't good for his knees or ankles.

He comes back from a long term injury and then plays him in every game until he breaks down again.

Overall, BFS has done a decent job but he's no romantic and I think it's possible to play good football and defend well.

He is a thick skinned, stubborn mule of a man and at 60 years of age he won't be changing his way of doing things anytime soon.
